Zachary graduated from
The Ohio State University in 1993 with a degree in Finance and Marketing. Zachary began his legal education at the University
of Akron School of Law graduating in 1996. During law school Zachary focused and honed his trial advocacy skills. During
the years 1994-1996, Zachary clerked at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and the Canton City Prosectuor's
Office in Canton, Ohio.
Following law school, Zachary was employed as an associate with the law firm of Lidov
and Block in Chicago. During his years at Lidov and Block, Zachary's practice focused primarily on Personal Injury litigation,
Workers Compensation, and Residential Real Estate transactions. Zachary was the principal trial attorney
at the firm handling complex ligitation including cases involving wrongful death and traumatic brain injuries.
In 2003, Zachary left Lidov and Block to begin his own practice. Zachary has since broadened his practice
areas to include Medical Malpractice claims, Nursing Home Neglect and Abuse cases and Egg Donation & Surrogacy Law.
Over Zachary's 13 years in practice, he has successfully tried many jury trials before the courts, has arbitrated hundreds
of claims and has closed upwards of 1,000 real estate transactions. Zachary is currently a member of the Federal Trial
Bar, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Zachary and his wife, Stacy, have been married for eight years and on
March 23, 2009 their daughter Shayna Goldie Sims was born. Zachary, Stacy and Shayna currently reside in Glenview, Illinois.
